Well It's Been A While....

Well It's been a little while since I have gotten around to my little blog here...

So here's some updates :)

I move in with my cool cousin Becky and her 3 awesome kids Tristen, Loucee, and Mikey in April of 2010. Now I just get to do fun stuff all the time and get lots of love from the kids!
Here we are at the Eastern Idaho State Fair parade in Sept. 2010

Here's the slip and slide we got! I totally slipped and slided on this baby...it was on accident, but it totally happened!

This looks so fun!

For some reason I let the kids talk me into spending the night on the tramp!

They had great fun keeping me up until all hours of the night and
we watched a movie, the finally we
fell asleep!

In February of 2011 Becky had little baby Champ!

His real name is Sloan Champ Chavez and he is so cute, cuddly, and SO good!

I really, really like Sloan and Chantel time!

This is an updated picture taken from my ipad... that's why the weird background!

He's such a stud!

In January I sent my little baby brother off to teach the people of Frankfurt Germany the gospel!

It was a sad day for me, Cory and I got to be pretty good friends in the time before he left! He is doing great and I am proud of him!

On Easter 2011 Nick proposed to Taryn!

Nick hid the ring in an egg, and then we all had an Easter Egg Hunt!

Nick "found" the egg and then had her open it and then of course she said YES!

So we are all heading to Nashville in September for the big day!

Here's a picture of the ring!

We love Taryn Ashley Carter and are so excited to have her in our family!

This is my stepmom Keri and my step-sister Hanna... aren't they cute?

This is also on Easter! It's Celes in her cute outfit!

This is the first time I saw her take steps and she is so cute! She's getting so big now!

This is my awesome sisters-in-law Bridget and Taryn!

Bridget helped Nick make the awesome eggs for Taryn's Easter surprise!

Celes 1st Birthday!

We all had such a good time at the party...but Celes had a reall, really good time!

Me and the birthday girl!

Celes got tons of presents!

She loved opening them almost more than actually playing with them...

except this monkey!

SWATT TEAM

This year my family had a Relay For Life team for our Favorite Aunt Kay who has cancer!

This is our team campsite that we set up!

We had a bake-sale to raise money for the American Cancer Society!

These are some of the Luminarias that we placed around our campsite!

Well I am probably missing some things, like the birth of Celes and my brother Scott's cute baby Benson! I love those guys so much and look forward to spoiling them rotten in the future! I am also missing out on lots of birthdays and holidays! There's too much to re-cap everything :)

Other than all this fun stuff I am just working at the pool, trying to do my best, and hanging out with friends and family! I'm just living the dream!

2009: In Review

This is my first attempt at blogging, so bear with me as i figure it all out! I guess since it's a fresh new year we should start with a review of the hightlights of 2009!

2009 HIGHLIGHTS

This is my dad's family at my grandma's birthday party in Utah last April! Top right to left: Karl, Mike (my dad) and Keith bottom right to left: Grandma Bame and Charlotte

After the birthday party for Grandma, Cory and I went to Antelope Island and Syracuse, where we used to live! We were supposed to be heading straight home to Burley to go to a wedding reception, but instead got too distracted here and didn't get home until after midnight!

Cory wanted his picture taken with every buffalo we saw... thank goodness we saw mostly fake ones!

We took tons of pics! Most of them were corny like this one we took by a sign of a hike we didn't take!

THE WEDDING OF THE SUMMER!

Alison's wedding was probably the biggest event of 2009! She met Josh in October of 2008 and got proposed to on Valentine's Day I believe, or might have been just around Valentine's Day! She married him on May 29th, 2009! It was a beautiful day for my family! Ali has always been so special to us that it was different now sharing her with someone else! Good thing we also now love Josh and know that he will treat her good!

This is some of my family at the temple with us! How nice of them all to come! They are always so awesome at supporting us!

This is my wonderful family! We are so awesome!

Here's a pic of the cake at her reception! It looks so cute! The pictures and candle's around it just look so awesome! The place where her reception was at was so beautifully decorated!

This was the popular spot to be! The chocolate/caramel/nut/cheesecake spot!

DAD AND KERI'S WEDDING!

Sometime in the beginning of 2009 my dad met Keri Munns! She lived in Brigham City and had 5 awesome kids of her own! After a while of "courting" and many trips from Rupert to Brigham for my dad and Brigham to Rupert for Keri they decided to get married! On August 8th, 2009 they exchanged their vows at Keri's parents house in Brigham City! It started out a cloudy day, but right before the ceremony the clouds broke and it was beautiful! Keri's dad got to marry them because he used to be Mayor of Brigham City!

All of us kids posing for a picture! We are so cute :)

This is our new blended family! In this picture are all 5 of my new step-siblings, 2 of their spouses and their kids! Yes people, my dad is now grandpa!

NICK CAME HOME!!!!

On December 23rd, 2009 my brother Nick came home from his mission! The guy next to Nick is Elder Adams who came home the same day! His mom knew he was coming home, but mine had no idea that Nick was on the plane! We got her to go to the airport and even convinced her to wait while his plane was delayed for 2 hours! When the plane landed we told her that Nick was on the plane and she was very, very surprised AND happy!
